things often change

am reminded at least weekly of how valuble some of my friends are, they are truly unique and unreplaceable. from my life of moving from one place to another i have generally just about dumped most if not all of my friends from the places i have previously lived and fairly successfully replaced them with new friends from my new place of residence. while i haven't purposely done this since moving to Adelaide at the start of the year, i think i have been trying to by just a way of survival that i have taught myself and at the same time trying to get myself to ring my friends that i know i need to keep in contact with and are people who i would hope to be life long friends, however realising of course that things often change.

that is what makes a dream complete

so what could a dream look like in the end?
how about a community recreation centre aimed at young people.
an indoor skate park, bowl and street.
a bascketball court and futsal pitch side by side.
a pool room full of pool tables and foosball tables too of course.
a small hall for gigs and general use.
a cafe type area.
a skate and sport shop, maybe music too.
other areas to use for confronting social issues.
a study hall where young people are encouraged to learn and get help in their studies.
a place where young people are people and not "just kids", where they are empowered to overcome obstacles in life and help others do the same.
a place where they can meet real people, who live real lives, who have a real faith, offer real hope, and live a life of real love.
real faith, real hope and real love, that is what matters in the end.
that is what makes a dream complete.
