yes i have neglected my blog for a bit i know. yes the World Cup was on and no i didn't get onto my PC enough during it and yes i was ecstatic for a while and then devastated for a long while after as Australia went out in such tragic circumstances, and yes i did have tears in my eyes.
so Australia were beaten by the eventual winners of the World Cup, and we can surely stand proud of our team and their performance. they have stood up on the biggest world stage and announced themselves as a world football contender. going further than any other nation from our now new home of Asia, and beating the Japanese rated at the top in our new confederation, the pressure is now on for Australia to win the Asian Cup.
but the question on the lips of all football fans in Australia is: will our stars play?
