what in the end will we actually do?

i would have to say it is the greatest disaster i can think of in my life time so far, the October 8 earthquake that hit Kashmir and has left an estimated 3.3 million homeless, about 80,000 injured, and about 54,000 dead if i read it right, maybe that's an estimate of the end total after winter hits. that would be like be like if over half the people in Ballarat died, like if everyone in Ballarat was injured and everyone in Melbourne was homeless.
There is now aslo a huge shortage of Tents for people to protect themselves from the winter cold.
'Major-General Farooq Ahmed Khan, Pakistan's top relief official, said 33,000 tents and 130,000 blankets had been distributed. But 260,000 tents and 2 million blankets were needed.'
'There are not enough tents in the world to protect refugees from the coming northern winter'

we can all at least pray...
most of us can at least give...
but the question is...
what in the end will we actually do?

The combined figures matched an estimate yesterday from a senior army official that 75,000 to 80,000 people had died across the country. India has reported 1360 deaths in the part of Kashmir that it controls.
